My mom has been using an Ultra Velociti for 1 1/2 years now. v live in baroda. Uptil now i hav had to change the whole battery once n sum problems every month or so like headlights stop working or the horn goes dead. But apart from all these troubles it is a good bike. My mom likes it bcos of its light weight and ease of use. But she is troubled by the monthly probs it creates. The main difficulty is the lack of service centres in Baroda. If more no. of service centres are opened then i think mayb more people would b interested in buying and using this vehicle.

When we drive the petrol & electric mixed moped, as the petrol system is working, the batteries in this vehicle will be charged by itself. The batteries will be charged ok after 20 km range. So, the charging-discharging-charging will repeated many time. In a word, we calculate that it is 125 km/L(petrol).

Hi to all, We have purchased 2 nos of Hero Ultra( now they split into ultra and hero) Velocities as they said very good stories to us. They said battery lasts for 300 cycles i.e. 300*40 kms= 12000 kilometers. But surprisingly batteries gone after 5000 kilometers. And they are denieing to replace the batteries and asking us to pay the full amount of Rs:9000/- for each vehicle.
If we calculate the running cost( where they are telling less than 10 paisa)
9000/5000 = Rs:1.80 + electricity charge Around 20 paisa per kilometer will cost around Rs: 2/-per kilometer is much costlier than any 2 two wheeler.Besides to that there is no proper response form the company in this regard. No resale value for the Evs. So I m asking all people better not to buy elecrtic vehicles particularly Ultra vehicles.if any one want to know all the problems about this vehicle pl mail me call me to 98491-98451once before buying this vehicles. Many spare parts are from chine, they are very poor in quality. Foot mats, Throttle, Head light Switch,Stand, Batteries ,Handle Bar yoke, Charger, were replaced in 1 year, Then you understand how poor quality products were being used in this.

please dont go for ultra marathon because i have taken it on 4 th july 08 as per operating manual and dealer charging of baterry will take 6to8 hours and indication will be there by red to green light means auto cut off. ihave maintain it but ina month i have observed problem that after 8 hours green indication was not coming, ihave contact my dealer he change my charger.even after that problem not solved.after repitedly complaints he change my baterry in warenty piriod ,after 9months same problem came i have contacted my dealer after discutin he says me iwill write to company ur problem and then i will see. after expendig 33000 rs and so many troubles i am reqesting people dont go for these type of poor quality vehicle. i wish company will take care of the valuable coustomers

We have been using the Marathon for our office staff since December 2008. The bike gives a mileage between 65 to 90 kms. per charge depending on driving conditions which seems to be the most economical in its category.
The bike has two inherent problems: 1. It is wobbly & imbalanced, 2. Our office staff compains that over long distances like 40 to 50 kms, their hands get strained by continuously holding the accelerator (required due to low speeds). (Ideally the accelerator should not be spring loaded or some better mechanism to prevent stress is warranted). 3. The parts of the bike such as plastics & rubber parts are non durable compared to other Indian petrol bikes. 4. The horn (has gone dead/ disconnected in 3 months time) & head lamp setting is disturbed after the first free servicing.
The dealer service of Aspirations E Bikes in Pune is good.

Its a good bike . Gives me a range of 70 kms + however its not recomended to fully drain the battery.
I live in kerala whein u have lots of hills and ...this bike can carry two adults quite easily (tho 25 kms max). If its just me then it goes aroun 30 kms which is pretty good.
The battery can be taken outside and charged ...tho very heavy! its easier to charge it through the plug they have on the scooter itself but it ll be a pain in case you live in an apartment ..only option will be to carry it upstairs else you may make friends with your ground floor wale uncles daughter :P

Bikes with speed 25km/hrs is not acceptable to present youth and indian middle class people. Min speed for this kind of bike should be 40-55km/hrs and Indian market have good potential to upbring this kind of bikes
