Chinese Company BYD Develops Electric Car

A Chinese company called BYD (Build Your Dreams) premiered its new line of EV cars at the Detroit Auto Show this week. They have developed a revolutionary new battery technology which they call 'ferrous oxide' batteries. This seems to be similar to LifePo4 which has been around for a while. They claim rapid charging (50% in 10 minutes) and a range of upto 400 km on one of their versions.
