The CY-250 Kit is an entry level kit with basic features consisting of the following four items:

Motor

The motor is a Chinese-made 250W brushless BLDC motor. It is rated for a running current of 250W, but can tolerate higher current at start up. The motor is rear-wheel mountable and any standard sprocket can be fitted on it for use with a chain.

Controller

The bicycle controller is rated for 24V with a max current of approximately 13A.

Throttle

This full throttle fits on the handlebar of any standard bicycle.

Charger

A 24V charger with max current of 2.5A will charge batteries in the range of 7Ah to 20Ah.

Compatible Accessories

The following items are not sold with this kit, and would be required unless used by engineering students for hobby projects.

Assembling your kit

In order to get your bicycle kit working you will need to buy two lead-acid batteries (12AH or 7AH). We can provide a plastic battery box which you can strap to the back of a bicycle, or you can design your own. You will need to wire up the batteries in series, connect the charger wire and two wires to connect to the controller. Unless you have basic electric knowledge and basic mechanic knowledge we do not recommend doing the installation on your own.

Shipping

This kit is shipped via road transport at your costs. If you require the kit urgently, you can let us know and we can send it via courier, but the costs are much higher.
Goods are dispatched withing 3-5 working days after receipt of the money.
